These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and the PolyGround team ("PolyGround", "we", "us") governing your use of the PolyGround mobile application and related services (the "App"). By creating an account, continuing as a guest, or otherwise using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. What PolyGround is
PolyGround is a casual, points-based prediction game. It lets you make forecasts on real-world events using a virtual, in-app token system ("Coins") and earn experience points ("XP"). Data ratios shown in the App mirror publicly available forecasting and market information for entertainment and informational purposes only.
PolyGround is built strictly for entertainment and involves no real money. Specifically:
There is no financial exchange, real-money deposit, withdrawal, or cash-out of any kind.
Coins and XP have no monetary value, cannot be redeemed, exchanged, sold, or transferred for money or anything of value, and exist only inside the App.
The App involves no cryptocurrency, blockchain, token, or Web3 functionality.
Outcomes are for entertainment. Nothing in the App is financial, investment, or trading advice.
2. Eligibility
You must be old enough to use the App under the laws of your country and meet the minimum age required by the platform you downloaded it from (e.g. the Google Play age rating). The App provides a competitive prediction experience built strictly for entertainment; it is intended for audiences who meet the standard platform age guidelines. By using the App you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Accounts
Guest accounts. You can start instantly as a guest. A guest account is tied to your device and may be lost if you uninstall the App, clear its data, or switch devices.
Linked accounts. You may link a third-party sign-in (e.g. Google) to help preserve your progress. Your use of that third-party service is governed by its own terms.
You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Do not share your account or impersonate others.
4. Virtual currency (Coins and XP)
Coins and XP are a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use in-app features. You do not own them and they are not your property.
We may grant, adjust, expire, reset, or remove Coins and XP at any time, including for game balance, fraud or abuse prevention, bug correction, or operational reasons.
Balances may be reset during testing and development. You should not expect any balance to persist.
Coins and XP are not redeemable for money or any real-world goods or services.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
Use bots, automation, exploits, or reverse engineering to gain Coins, XP, ranking, or any in-app advantage;
Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its servers;
Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms; or
Attempt to derive real-money value from, or operate any secondary market in, Coins or XP.
We may suspend or terminate your access, and remove balances or rankings, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.
6. Third-party data and services
Prediction and forecasting data are sourced from third parties and provided "as is". We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Polymarket or any data provider, and we do not guarantee the accuracy, timeliness, or availability of that data. The App may display advertising served by third-party networks subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
7. Account deletion and data
You may request deletion of your account and associated data as described in our Privacy Policy. Deleting your account permanently removes your in-app progress, including Coins and XP, which cannot be recovered. 8. Changes to the App and these Terms
The App is under active development. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features (including the economy, leaderboards, and rewards) at any time. We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above, and your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
9. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any data shown is accurate.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PolyGround and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, progress, Coins, or XP, arising out of or related to your use of the App. Because the App involves no real money and Coins and XP have no monetary value, you acknowledge that any loss of in-app balances has no cash value.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located there will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the App, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
