Even the steadiest climate has its less certain days. Singapore on 11 September peaks at 32°C with 52%, with 31°C at 33% and 33°C at 13%.

That is noticeably softer than the other Singapore questions on this board, which peak at 68% and 66% — and it peaks a degree cooler, too.

The lesson is that "predictable climate" does not mean "identical every day". Equatorial cities have very little seasonal variation, but cloud cover and rainfall still move the daily maximum around, and a day with more convective activity runs cooler and is harder to pin down. A 52% peak still reflects a well-understood system; it is simply a day where the crowd sees more room for the temperature to land either side.

Comparing several questions on one city is the only way to notice this. A single distribution gives you no sense of whether 52% is high or low for that place.
